2005 starts off with a spring drive for all RX-8 tri state members. Our drive explores some of the best locations
in Bucks county area, covering Langhorne, New Hope, Newtown and Lambertville in NJ |
BRIEF REVIEW
14 RX-8's met at 12.45, Langhorne PA. To our delight, two shinkas had appeared, along with some very nice modified 8's! At 1.30PM we departed for Yardley, and onto New hope. Unfortunately our planned route came to a halt due to some unexpected bridge
closings, therefore taking alternative directions. Once arriving in New Hope, temps. were climbing as were the crowds (more like a market!), so we made another detour to a local Italian restaurant.
The 18 of us actually got our own tables and room, as we all enjoyed socializing with our new RX-8 neighbors in the tri state. The day was drawing to a close, with our next stop
being Newtown..however once completing twisty '29' most folks thought about retiring!
The day was an enjoyable one, and we all had a blast! After having to cancel teh scheduled meet twice due to weather, this meet finally paid off!
