Princeton 'Carnegie Lake' & Panera Bread: Princeton NJ
RX-8 Only Mini Meet - Lets chill have a afternoon beer/coffee and some food.
It was a real 'hot' turn out after the 'cold' season. Nothing was cold about this meet, with a turnout of 11 RX-8's. All new members -- seems like the regulars took a break this time around! Temperatures touched the 80's, but we had a great location!
We spent a good 3 hours at the lakes, then ending the meet with a bite to eat at Panera Bread in Laurenceville NJ.
Between the two towns we took a drive on Route 27, past University of Princeton in two groups. We certainly did stand out amongst the Princeton 'Sunday' vistors - afterall its not everyday you actually see 10 RX-8s parading through a town!

DIRECTIONS/INFO
Meeting at Carnegie Lake, aprox 1.30 - 2.pm (due to last minute change). LAKE CARNEGIE owned by Princeton University, available to public for boating, canoeing, ice skating (limited area) & picnicking. Alan, one of our members helped us choose the spot - many thanks, and here are the directions. I appologize if they are alittle vague, but you will certainly see 8-12 RX-8s in the area!
Lake Carnegie (Entry/Exit - Route 27 (Lincoln Highway)):
Another parking lot on the lake, with room for 50 cars. It is right off of Route 27, but has a nice panoramic
view of the lake. From Battlefield Park: Take Princeton Pike east to
Rt 27 (Nassau St). Right on Nassau. Continue for 2.5 miles. The
parking area is just off the right shoulder, along the shore of the
lake. Enter the parking area on the southeast side of the road (the lake side). The lot is just past a newly reconstructed bridge. The ground is gravel, but not too bad!
